Happy Birthday Thomas #24

The 7th was the last day for my CVS and Rite Aid rewards would expire. I was in a panic cause I couldn't find a blog that had a good scenario that I wanted. So I just went for it. My daughter wanted Loreal eyeliner and I had a $1.00 Loreal coupon, I also had an edge shaving cream  coupon that I had to use worth 3.00.
Bought both and used $7.00 rewards with $4.00 in coupons, plus recieved $2.00 rewards for the edge shaving cream means total spent .74 cents for  12.79 total in merchandise.
Bought 1 Clear shampoo, 1 clear Conditioner, 2 hair pins for a total of 16.94. used 16.00 ups rewards and paid oop, 2.23 and received $9.00 so made 6.77 money maker.

Yesterday was a great Birthday for our youngest son Thomas's  #24.
All you can eat crab buffet.
And he wanted a white cake. I didn't want to make it so I went to Raley's. We didn't like it, I should've made it after all.
Hubbie, my iphone hasn't been focusing lately.
Timothy Jr. and Kimberly
We decorated his door, he loved it.
Daughter Kimberly and I can't stand shell fish so the 26.00 price per person was kind of a waste but we were there for Thomas.

If desired, use tenderizer on steak according to label directions. With a large sharp knife, slice meat across the grain in very thin strips 3 to 4 inches long. In a small bowl, sprinkle meat with 2 tablespoons of the cornstarch and sherry. Mix well set aside.

In a small bowl, mix bouillon, soy sauce, remaining 1 tablespoon cornstarch, and sugar until sugar is dissolved set aside.

In a 10-inch non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon oil. Stir-fry onion and garlic 1 minute or until onion is limp. Add carrots and broccoli stems. Stir-fry 1 minute longer. Transfer vegetables to a bowl.

Heat 1/2 tablespoon oil in skillet. Stir-fry steak until no longer pink. Stir bouillon mixture and pour over steak. Stirring, bring to a boil. Add broccoli florets and reserved vegetables. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 3 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Serve with rice.

My oldest son started the brine yesterday from

Didn't have a container big enough for a 20 lbs.bird so we wrapped it in a large trash bag and turned it 3 times.
Around 4:00 pm he started the coals and soaked the chips.
He finally put the Turkey in at 5:00
8:00 pm finally done at 170* in the thigh
Look at that beautiful smoke ring. It was so tender and good.
Great job Timmy!
Oops didn't count the points, o well it was so late it shouldn't count right?
